the whole legal system is a scam...

It just dawned on me:

the whole legal system is designed for very rich people, who can afford to hire a lawyer to represent them.

Because, the hearings are scheduled on work days, 9-5. So if you work, you must take time off.

If you don't make enough money to take time off, or you have a job (e.g. a teacher, full time caregiver) and cannot take time off, then you have to hire a lawyer to go instead of you.

So, if you don't make enough money to pay the lawyer and/or you cannot go to court, then - you cannot sue.


Another possibility is having the time to go to court yourself. Usually such people are poor (retired, disabled, etc.) and do not have the skills to represent themselves.


In any case:
If you cannot sue, various vultures see that and try to rip you off.
